There isn’t a single definition of “success.”
You don’t have to make hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars every year.
You don’t have to employ 2, 20, 200, or 2,000 people.
I know people who are:
- Making $1.5M a year and content
- Making $5M a year adding on new product lines to keep expanding
- Making $10M a year and growing internationally
- Making $2M a year and stressed out
- Making $100K a year and couldn’t be happier
- Making $200K a year and trying to figure out what they want to do over the next few years
There isn’t one right answer.
I challenge you to talk to others and learn how they define success. It’s not about figuring out which one is “best” and copying it. It’s about taking all those inputs from people in different industries and walks of life to help you determine what your options are.
From there, make your definition of success. As you’re painting that picture, you’ll steal some colors from each of the stories you’ve heard. But the end result will be something uniquely yours.
